Description
Presents short interviews with 11 Indigenous people with lived experience, this campaign includes individual talks discussing the overdose crisis, recovery from addiction and substance use-related stigma. Special attention is paid to the uniquely Indigenous experience of drug addiction (e.g., as a consequence of intergenerational trauma), as well as the need for harm reduction and "land-based healing" (a recovery approach via attuning to indigenous culture). Additionally, the campaign website includes information on the overdose crisis during the COVID-19 pandemic, educational and community support resources for addiction, and promotional campaign posters.
