Addictions Don't Discriminate

Description

Inspired by Strathcona County's Opioids Don't Discriminate, this campaign included a walkable, physical exhibit that invited visitors to step into the shoes of six real people to see the personal events that led to their drug addiction and how they later recovered. Notable themes throughout these stories included childhood sexual abuse, overdose and suicide. Unlike the Strathcona campaign, this campaign generalizes the focus of stories to all drug addictions instead of just opioid addiction.

A short promotional video, pictures and instructions on how to host this exhibit are included on the campaign website. Short biographies of the six storytellers are also included, along with statistics on drug use.
